Notices have deadlines.Waiting makes them harder.

01

A letter that raises questions

Notices cite code sections and amounts without explaining how the agency got there.

02

A response date already running

Most notices give a set window to respond before the agency moves to its next step.

03

Records spread across years

Exams ask for receipts, bank statements and registers that may sit in several places.

What’s included

We stand with you.

The same office prepares your returns, payroll and sales tax, so the work is built for the filings that come after it.

Notice review

We read the notice, confirm what the agency is asking, and set the response date.

Power of attorney

Form 2848 lets our CPA speak with the IRS for you. States use their own forms.

Document organization

We gather and index the records that answer the specific issue under review.

Written responses

Clear written responses with supporting schedules, prepared for the agency.

Sales tax and payroll exams

Exemption and resale certificates and payroll registers organized for the auditor.

After the exam

We explain agreements, appeal rights and payment plans so you can decide next steps.

I definitely recommend Orkun and his firm! I have been coming here to do my taxes for a few years and just recently started my own business and needed help starting an LLC. Orkun was very helpful, informative, and made the process very easy!

FAQs

Good questions.

Something else on your mind? Call 773-536-9272 and our office will walk you through it.

Can a CPA represent me before the IRS?
Yes. CPAs are authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS. With a signed Form 2848, we can speak and correspond with the IRS on your behalf.
Do I still need to be involved?
You remain the taxpayer and make the decisions. We handle the paperwork and communication within the authority you give us.
What if I disagree with the result?
You generally have appeal rights, and the letter explains the deadline. We walk you through the options so you can choose how to proceed.
Do you help with Illinois notices?
Yes. We respond to Illinois Department of Revenue notices and exams, including sales tax and withholding, using the state’s own power of attorney form.
What does audit support cost?
It depends on the notice and the years involved. We quote after a short call and a look at the letter.

Have a notice in hand?

Send us a copy and book a call. We will tell you what it means and what comes next.
